TSPSC Group 1 notification is going to be the biggest one even for a combined state. Do you know which topics particular to Telangana need to be covered? We summarize it here...

Group - 1 exam by TSPSC will consist of 3 stages - Preliminary, Mains, and Interview which is similar to UPSC.  But there are the following differences-

Preliminary - Unlike UPSC there are no two separate papers for GS and CSAT.  They both are combined, with 150 questions and 150 minutes to answer them.

 

Mains- Like UPSC Mains has common papers but they are a total of 6 in number and 1 qualifying English paper.  And TSPSC doesn't have optional papers.

 

Syllabus- Most of it is covered in UPSC Syllabus.  But being a state-level paper, there are certain aspects related to Telangana that you need to cover.  And here they are-

 

Note: 95% of seats are reserved for local candidates. A local candidate is one who had 7 years of education in Telangana.  5% of seats, any non-local can apply.
