Minister Harish Rao says the notification for Group 4 with 9000+ vacancies will be out within a week

As per a new update from Telangana Govt, Notifications are likely to be released for nearly 28,000 Posts in a Week.  Group 4 Posts alone would have more than 9000+ vacancies and are likely to be filled by Direct Recruitment.

The details of the likely notification and other related exam is as follows:

1. 9000+ Group VI Posts

2. 1400+ Group III Posts

3. 700+ Group II Posts

4. 500+ Group I Posts - Exam Likely to be conducted on October, 16th.

Group 4 Exam Pattern

It consists of 2 papers- Written Test of 150 MCQs & Computer Proficiency Test of 4 Questions.  The Exam is for 150 minutes for Written Test.  And weightage would be 150 Marks for the Exam.  Computer Proficiency Test will be weighed for 50 Marks.

Candidates in the age group of 18-39 will be eligible to give this exam.  And Candidate would require a degree in any relevant discipline.

As a Group 4 employee, you would be able to earn a gross salary of Rs. 20,000-25,000 depending on the post you are selected.  Based on your performance in the exam, and your preference, you will be given the choice of Post.

Group 4 Exam will not have interview process. Hence, doing well in exam is a must.

 

Preparation Strategy for Group 4 Exam

Group 4 Exam will cover following topics:

1. General Science

2. Current Events

3. India & Telangana History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Social Welfare

4. General Aptitude & Data Sufficiency

To ace this exam, you need to score between 70-80% marks.  It is important to score such because many aspirants preparing for Group I, II, III would also appear for Group IV Exam to understand or to secure a Post for themselves.  Hence, you need to have a sound preparation strategy for the same.  You can prepare on your own or check with popular coaching Institutes.

Preparation Tips

1. Study & Practice should go hand in hand

2. Cover all topics given in Syllabus, use prepared notes and dont spend time on making notes.

3. Give atleast 30+ Tests before Exam Day and understand the weak and strong areas.

4. Take intelligent guess in strong areas and leave out weak areas.

5. Read question paper atleast twice, without wasting much time at any one question.

6. Always use practice as reference, to understand topics to study during preparation.

7. Speak out loud while solving questions, to keep the focus.

8. Sleep at right times, eat right food, and don't use more than one reference book for one subject.
